Kahokutakemacha is the tea developed from a long time ago as Goyouchiya of Hosokawa clan in the Edo period Located in the northernmost part of Kumamoto Prefecture, Kahoku Town is one of the oldest and traditional tea-producing areas in the prefecture. In such a tea village , we have been sticking to safe and high-quality tea leaves ever since the establishment. We have consistently continued making self-made tea by committing to the development of soil by giving a lot of organic fertilizer, and also working on the reduced pesticide. “There are things that can be done by a small factory” is the motto. We keep the mindset of making tea from customer's perspective and we, as a whole family together, will deliver the finest tea that we have created to the best of our ability.
